The five chapters

itch lists the tutorial as five short chapters: moving, catching, carrying, defense and throwing. You can skip it, and you can replay a single drill. The 24 Oct 2026 devlog says that build tightened the tutorial, added a big-hit lesson, and gave the Tackle Alley finale ten tries. Those are patch notes, not a promise that every phone still shows the same lesson order.

Labels you can see

The Play screenshots show touch words, not a manual: JUMP, WALL, SPIN, ARM, DIVE, TRUCK, SWITCH HANDS, CONTROL CUTS. I treat them as button names on the phone HUD. I do not assign them to keyboard letters. The developer wrote that PC controls are “getting a full pass,” which is a reason to wait for their diagram instead of publishing mine.

Room codes

On itch, Practice then With a Friend generates a room code you send to someone else. Both sides need the same build. Epic Online Services handles the match. Play says Route Battle can be a quick match or a room code, and the gameplay trailer description says cross-platform 1v1, 3v3 and three-player practice across Android, iOS and PC. A room code is not a TestFlight invite. The iOS link is a different page.

When a match feels wrong

PC: Settings, Graphics, Performance or Potato, and F8 to send a report. Phone: pause, then the report-a-problem control the itch notes describe. The 1 Nov 2026 Play update says an online desync after a touchdown was fixed and that in-game reports reach the developer. Replay editor — watch, trim, change angles, slow motion, export — is the store description of how you look at a play again.

“How to play on PC” in search means this Windows zip, not an Android emulator. Role swaps in Route Battle are described two ways: itch says eight reps, four on each side; Play says roles swap every two. I am not picking a cadence.
