Play versus the itch APK
On Google Play the game installs like any other free app, then offers one Full Game purchase. Restore Purchases sits in Settings. The itch APK is a 226 MB file you sideload: allow installs from the browser, and a newer build installs over the old one and keeps progress. Those are the install words on the itch download flow.
I am not linking APK mirror catalogs. On 4 Nov 2026 those pages did not return a readable listing, so an older size someone quoted from them is not a current fact. If a file’s package name is not app.streetleaguefootball, it is not this Play app.
What the free Play install includes
Play’s free tier lists the tutorial, Tackle Alley with one tackler, Route Battle against Rookie or Street CPU, and the replay editor. Full Game adds Endless, 3v3, kickoff returns, quarterback and route practice, online play, more Tackle Alley defenders, and Legend plus Insane CPU. The itch page talks about those modes as playable in the download, which is a different gate. The price page holds the two-column comparison.
Touch layout
Play says the phone build is landscape, with a layout editor that moves every button, and that controllers work too. There is no separate “mod APK” from the developer. A modified package would be someone else’s file.
Data the Play card admits
Play’s data-safety card says no data is shared with third parties, that personal info, app activity and two other categories are collected, that data is encrypted in transit, and that you can request deletion. The studio privacy page adds the guest account used for online play. Read that page before you treat the store card as the whole story. No APK hash is published, so I cannot print a checksum.
